The Idea of You (2024)

Rom coms get a bad rap, same-same for chick-lit, but I refuse to categorize anything you enjoy as a "guilty pleasure." Love what you love! Now, granted some have better writing, production, etc. than others and I've definitely seen some doozies.

Thankfully, in addition to a solid script and excellent performances The Idea of You also delivers on the interior eye-candy. We see fancy hotel rooms and French Provencal houses, but the real star is Anne Hathaway's Craftsman style bungalow in Silverlake.

Gorgeous warm toned wood, a color story featuring rich teal, citrusy green and burgundy, plus an extraordinary mix of contemporary art with mid century furniture. It reads as eclectic yet curated, the perfect home for a slightly bohemian, but clearly well-heeled gallery owner and her absolutely rad daughter.
